Ink studies

I have been making quick studies in acrylic and gouache…and this afternoon with ink.

I have started a drawing (for those that know my work…this is an incredibly meditative, repetitious and time consuming practice) which I will continue to chip away on and love working on for a particular type of engagement with material and process.

Right now it is the unpredictability, looseness and freedom of small studies in ink that I am really enjoying.

And now it is time to go out for pizza with some of the other artists…
